  The Petersburg Superior & District Court System allows access to general public to the criminal, civil and other cases except the juvenile cases where only parties to the case are allowed to have access to the court records. People can request for the copy of the document on the given form and have to pay a fee of 25 cent per page in case of normal documents are requested and $5 if certified document is required. Similarly in special cases an additional fee of $15 per hour is charged as research fee.

  The Kake Magistrate Courts of the Wrangell-Petersburg County allow the general public to have access to the court records of criminal, civil with the exception to the juvenile cases. In juvenile cases only the parties are allowed to have access to the records. In order to see the records a person must make a request in writing to Court Clerk or the Records’ Department. The request must be made in writing and no emails are entertained. For the provision of the requested copies of documents some fees are imposed which are: $5.00 for each certified document, 25 cents per page for non certified documents and a research fee of $15 per hour in certain cases.
