Individuals can search through the Judicial Department’s website by clicking on the appropriate county on the state map. All of the counties in South Carolina are accessible through this online tool, with exception to Saluda, Lee, Chesterfield and Darlington.

South Carolina’s judicial system is divided into three tiers: trial courts (circuit, family, probate, magistrate, and municipal courts), the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court.
