The South Carolina Court Administration handles all administrative activities related to the South Carolina Judicial Department. Access to South Carolina court records can be obtained through the various counties in South Carolina. Individuals can search through the Judicial Department’s website by clicking on the appropriate county on the state map. All of the counties in South Carolina are accessible through this online tool, with exception to Saluda, Lee, Chesterfield and Darlington.

South Carolina’s judicial system is divided into three tiers: trial courts (circuit, family, probate, magistrate, and municipal courts), the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court. The South Carolina Court Administration has responsibility over all records.
