The Kansas Court Administration of the Kansas Judicial Branch maintains records of court cases heard in Kansas. Court records include those of civil and criminal cases, including divorce, domestic relations, damage suits, probate, administration of estates, guardianships, conservatorships, care of the mentally ill, juvenile matters, and small claims. Court of Appeals and Supreme Court cases are also counted as court records. Adoption, juvenile, expunged, mental and drug treatment, unserved warrants, and certain other records are not available.

This agency will do searches on Appellate cases for $12.00 per hour. Copies are $.25 per page, add $1.00 if certified.
Access to Kansas Court Records
Maintained by the Kansas Court Administration, recent and published opinions of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals are available online, as are pending appellate cases; the Supreme Court docket, argument schedule, opinions, and oral arguments; the Court of Appeals docket, argument schedule, and opinions; petitions for review of Court of Appeals decisions; transfers of appeals to the Supreme Court; and district court records. Search requests may be made in writing to the clerk of the appropriate court.
There is a $12 per hour search fee and a nominal per-page copying fee that is set at each local level for Kansas court records.
Kansas court records are available for all dates; however, juvenile records are available only for cases heard before July 1, 1997.
