How To Lookup Inmate & Incarceration Records In Missouri

Missouri Department of Corrections

About This Office:

The Missouri Department of Corrections (MODOC) is responsible for the smooth operation of 21 state correctional facilities. MODOC is also committed to rehabilitating prisoners, as evidenced by their Puppies for Parole program, where certain offenders are chosen to work with dogs scheduled for euthanizing at state animal shelters and teaching them basic obedience. The “puppies” are then returned to the shelter ready for adoption.

Inmate Records At This Office:

Missouri inmate lookup is done through Offender Web Search system, sponsored by MODOC. This online system gives the public 24-hour access to inmate records. Users can search using the prisoner’s ID number or by entering first and last name.

Access To Missouri Inmate Records:

MODOC disseminates inmate records to the public, which include available biographical and physical information like date of birth, hair and eye color, height, weight, race and gender. Also available are conviction descriptions and information, location of correctional facility, the parole or probation assigned officer if applicable, past offenses if applicable, tentative release date and any known aliases.
