What does PeopleSmart Membership offer?
PeopleSmart Memberships grant you search access to our directories:
- Search by name, phone, email, and address
- Available contact information
- Court records and other public documents
- Alerts when new information is available for your Saved Searches

How do I use Search Alerts to stay updated on new records for a specific person?
As part of your PeopleSmart Membership, you’ll receive instant notifications when we detect a change to any of your Saved Searches. You can customize your Search Alerts inside the Saved Search section in My Activity.
What types of records are available through the Court Records search?
Court Records searches allow you to check court records pulled from county, state, and federal courts, including national registries, state Departments of Correction, and state Administrations of Court. These include searches for criminal and civil court records, including available arrest records, sex offenses, inmates, bankruptcies, liens and judgments.
Can I use PeopleSmart on my mobile phone?
Yes, PeopleSmart is mobile-friendly and integrates responsive design to fit any computer, smartphone, or tablet. No separate membership is required for mobile or desktop access. Take PeopleSmart wherever you go, on any device.
How do I save, print, save to PDF, or email my searches and reports?
When you run a search, you have several options for saving your results by selecting from the icons in the top right of the results.
What types of searches are available through PeopleSmart?
PeopleSmart’s directory gives you access to contact information and public records. Start your search with a name, address, phone number, email, or county court office.
Why can’t I see the full email address for someone?
PeopleSmart is designed to help you connect with others in a privacy-friendly way. To prevent unwanted contacts or spam, we relay your first message to the intended recipient’s email. The recipient will get to choose how they want to reply and whether or not they want to make their full email address visible.
You can check on the status of your messages in the Sent Messages section of the My Activity portal. If your messages are marked as spam by recipients, you will not be able to send future emails through your account.
What is a "reverse" phone or email search?
A "reverse lookup" helps you locate a person starting with just a phone number or email address.
What happens if I don't find what I am looking for?
If you are unable to find the record you are searching for, we are happy to help. Simply contact us and our Member Services team will assist you. Please have your order number available to expedite your request.
How do credits work?
PeopleSmart credits allow you to get volume discounts and quickly upgrade to premium reports without re-entering your billing information. Credits expire 1 month after purchase if unused.
