Records Available:

ADC allows the public to access inmate information that includes where a prisoner is incarcerated and for what offense(s), what an inmate’s projected release date is, their current status and when they get transferred. Inmate records are updated regularly, but if a transfer occurs suddenly, for example, the records might not be immediately updated for the public.

Access to Arkansas Court Records

Retrieving Records

The Arkansas Department of Correction (ADC) makes incarceration records available to the public and to law enforcement personnel. Anyone who needs to use these records for reasons of personal or public safety may access information about currently incarcerated inmates through the ADC website. Records may be requested by Department of Correction number or by name, gender, age, race, facility, or offense category. The Inmate Database may also be downloaded from the ADC website in compressed format.

Cost

Individuals accessing inmate records through the Arkansas Department of Correction website are not charged. The Inmate Database may also be downloaded at no cost.

Years Available

The Arkansas Department of Correction maintains current records of incarcerated inmates. Although records are updated regularly, they may not reflect an inmate’s latest location, status, or release date.
