NDOC holds all inmate records and makes limited information available to the public. Public Nevada inmate lookup searches will yield the offender’s name, known aliases, gender, ethnicity, age, birth date, height, weight, complexion, hair and eye color, current institution or status, and lists whether the offender has prior felonies. Specific conviction and sentence information is not included.

Access to Nevada Court Records
Electronic incarceration records are available online through the Nevada Department of Corrections website. Any individual may search for information on offenders under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections. Users may search the database by offender ID or name. The timeliness and accuracy of these records is not guaranteed. Requests for inmate information may also be addressed by postal mail, telephone, fax, or email to the department’s Family and Community Services staff.
The Nevada Department of Corrections does not charge a fee for the use of its online database. The Family and Community Services department provides inmate information free of charge.
