Unfortunately no sealed records are open to the public. The County Clerk’s office contains all criminal records in books, dating back to 1900. The civil records are computerized back to 1993 and then exist in book form back to 1900. Members of the public must make records requests in person.

Buffalo City Court’s criminal records are computerized back to 1983 and exist in book form dating back to 1974. Their civil records are the same. Members of the public must make their records request in person.

Members of the public can make their requests either in person or online. A date of birth, name and year of the case is needed to conduct and accurate search.
