The Blythe division of the Superior Court has jurisdiction over Blythe and Ripley. It has separate contact phone numbers for both Family Law and Traffic. The court handles cases involving felonies, misdemeanors, civil actions, eviction, small claims and traffic. There are no probation reports released by the court. You can obtain records by phone, fax, mail, online and in person. Criminal records are computerized from 1991 and the same is true for civil records. Both types of records are destroyed after ten years.

The Superior Court serves criminal cases from downtown Riverside. They handle felonies and misdemeanors. The court does not provide adoption, juvenile, medical, probation or unlawful detainers for 60 days and do not release sealed records. Criminal records are on microfiche and computer from 1970. You can obtain the records by phone, fax, mail, online and in person. Records are also available on CD Rom for a fee of $25.00 per month per department and a complete name index is $300.00 per department.

The Banning Division provided criminal and civil records are kept for a period of ten years and then destroyed. This court deals with felony, misdemeanor, civil actions under $25,000, eviction, small claims and traffic cases. You can obtain the records by mail, in person, phone or online. There are no probations reports released by this court. The court serves Banning, Cabazon, Highland Springs, Poppet Flatt, Silent Valley, Beaumont. They are open to the public between 730 AM and 430 PM.

The Southwest Justice Center, Superior Court, in Murrieta handles felonies, misdemeanors and family law. Adoption, juvenile, medical, probation or sealed records are not released by the court. Criminal records on are computer since 1992, prior records are on microfiche. You can obtain mail, fax, online and in person. This court is one that is fairly new as of 1/21/2003. It took the criminal cases from the Superior Courts in Hemet and Perris that are closed.

The Indio Division has jurisdiction over matters related to cases about misdemeanors, civil actions under $25,000, evictions, small claims, probate and traffic. It covers the general area that covers from Palm Springs to Indio. You can obtain records by phone, fax, mail, online and in person. There criminal records have been computerized since 1993 and records older than ten years are destroyed. Civil records are also on computer and they also are destroyed after ten years.
