About This Office:
The Illinois Courts is a central registry for all information relating to the Illinois court system. In addition to court information, some of the other information that may be obtained includes reports, statistics, policies and standards, juror information, judicial conference, judicial education, applications and forms, Supreme Court library information and press releases.
Court Records At This Office:
Individuals interested in obtaining Illinois court records through the Illinois Courts should read the publication on the Illinois Courts’ website entitled “Electronic Access Policy for Circuit Court Records Illinois Courts,” as this report details the availability of these records to the general public.
Access To Illinois Court Records:
Illinois Court Records are available from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts. Supreme Court and Appellate Court records are archived from 1996 on, with the most recent 90 days’ worth of records searched separately. In addition, the public can follow the Illinois Courts tweets and subscribe to an email list for news and other court information. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority maintains databases that can be searched for adult offenses from 1978-2009 and juvenile offenses from 1995-2009.
